like, its illegal to own an uninsured car.....so is it illegal to have an uninsured pet. it will be vaccinated and everything. and if it is mandatory to insure your dog, how much is the insurance cost?

You can own as many cars in Canada as you want but you can't drive them if they are not insured, and for pets you don't need insurance at all. some cities required you to get a licence(dog or cat tag) for a small fee. It is also a money grabbing thing for the local city crook administrators, it's a way for extra taxes.
