Default CAT INSURANCE! Which company to go with? (UK)?

Hi all,
I am about to insure my cat! He is a young tabby (1 1/2 years old). His recent MOT showed him in perfect health. He has his catflap and comes and goes as he pleases.

However, I am lost in the Pet Insurance jungle! I have been told to look for the max. amount per year rather than condition - Axa does a good one. £11 per month. Excess is £50.
Petplan is also good, but more costy.

What insurance do you have? Write the companies down, a few details about your cat, and the pro's and con's!
Thank you!
None of the companies that have quoted me have asked whether he is an indoor or outdoor cat. Outdoor cats are at higher risks for accidents or injury, whereas indoor cats are at higher risks for long term illness.
I hear ya, Honey Bee! I too, have considered this - back and forth. But there is still that ''what if'' something would happen too soon (hit by car etc) - then £24 in my savings wouldn't go very far! Long term, yes, short term? Don't know!! I totally see your point though.
