Default Pet Insurance: Which one is the best?

Please tell me your experience and opinions on pet insurance as well as which one you prefer and why. I'll be getting a kitten in 2 months. Any comments and suggestions etc.... are welcome.

None of them are. They don't cover a lot of things and are a complete waste of money. Instead set aside a little money in savings each month and use that to cover vet bills.

I read once that Pet Insurance is NOT good.

You pay a lot per month and still pay about 50% of vet bills.

What I do is this: I put aside (into a bank account just for my pets) about 50 a month (what I would be paying on pet insurance) and whenever I need to bring them in, I have more then enough money to pay for the costs.

I've had Hatsu for about a year

so...

50 * 12 = $600
Sometimes I put more money in

So last month I had over $1000 in the account.

I just got a kitten so after I get her spayed and shots, I'll have $990.

My vet allows me to make monthly payments on any service she proivides. However, I've never had to bring them in (yet), but when I do, I know I'll have all the money I need to pay for it.
