Default How much does it cost to get bonded and insured to do pet-sitting?

Doesn't have to be exact; averages are fine...

That depends on how much of a bond you wish, or are required, to post. If you live in a city that has an ordance requiring you to be bonded the ordance should tell you what the minimum bond is.

You need to ask this question to a reputable bonding company.

My bond is specifically for petsitting. I have it through my insurance company that we have our house and cars with.

It costs me 150.00 a year.

It probably depends on where you are located, as far as rates go.

You are not required to have a bond to become a petsitter even if you have a business license for it.

But, I personally would not hire a petsitter that was not licensed and bonded to come to my home.

I think you should go for it if you plan to petsit.

Just in case your interested, they have some great petsitting groups on Yahoo that you could join and find out loads of info about petsitting...

good luck!
