Default Is pet insurance worth the money? Do cats get sick often enough that i would use it?

My cat recently had a fight and has come out with the short straw, It has cost me alot of money to get him back on the road to recovery, and it was quite a shock.
Id like to know of people who have found pet insurance to be reliable and worth the money?

If your pet is prone to accidents or fights, pet insurance might be worth it for you. Pet insurance information can usually be found through your vet.

It is good for cats and dogs who can easilly cost the owner a lot of vet bills. It's definitely something to concider.

its definately worth the money. you never know when something will happen that will require a visit to the vet.

I know some ppl that wish they had pet insurance when thier dog got poisoned it cost hundreds and hundreds of dollars to get her even remotely better and now the poor creature is on medication that costs 100$ every month just to keep her semi healthy.

if i were you i would get pet insurance because, when my cat had kittens, 3 of them died and almost the 4rth one because of a birth sickness. what my mom did was she got insurance and the doctors took care of the kitten. beacause of that problem the cat now is small even though it's an adult......you should probably get pet insurance too. it's worth the money trust me.

It is well worth taking out. Cats get into a lot fights, and vets bills are never cheap.

my dog has a kinda insurance thing from Banfield (the type of vet we go to its like a chain store, you can search it on the net. and its affiliated with petsmart. the one we go to have petsmart connected to it) its quite convenient. they give you letters on reminders for a comprehensive examinations every about 6 months and they give you free examinations and vet visits. you can come in anytime and if they have time, they'll give a look at your pets. they also do cats as well.
we saved soooo much from the pet wellness insurance from Banfield. maybe about $500 now? i dont know but its a lot of money.
