Default Can I cancel my AOPA Aircraft renters insurance and get some of my money back??

Well I think the title pretty much says it all. I bought 1 year of renters insurance about 6 months ago and now I am not planning on flying much for the next few months. Can I cancel this insurance and get part of my money back? If not can I tell AOPA to stop my coverage now and start it again say 5 months from now?

Thanks for any comments
