What do you mean you're going to jail? What are you being charged with? Civil law addresses insurance contracts and the breaking of them. You cannot be charged with something that is a civil matter. Unless you were driving without insurance because your policy was cancelled for non-payment, but in most jurisdictions this is not an arrestable offence, and few if any jurisdictions allow jail time for driving without insurance. It's almost always a hefty fine. How about some more details?
