Most likely no. Best thing to do is check with your policy to see. If you don't already have insurance in place, there is also usually a set time period that you must wait before having any sort of major work done at all.
There aren't many insurance policies that cover braces. If you can't find coverage, and before you pay cash, usually about $5000 for braces, let me know and I can send you some information on an alternative source that can cut your out of pocket expense by about $3000.
