We've had the insurance from the vet clinic at our local PetSmart.

I don't have anything to compare it too, but the first year puppy insurance was totally worth it!!

includes all visits & vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery, discounted medications (if needed, we only got a few days worth of a pain killer after we got her spayed)

***edit... go blue had a great idea!! all that first year stuff adds up to a lot and I'll do the same thing w/ the PetSmart clinic with the new puppy we're getting soon, but I think after the puppy stage that's the best thing.
