A fine and possibly a ban. Go to court in person and plead guilty, the magistrates usually favour a lighter sentence when someone bothers to show up. Do not try the old story ' I didn't know it was not insured', they will tell you that you should have checked first, as ignorance of the law is no excuse for breaking it. good luck.
