Why can't you add an additional insured to a hired & non-owned auto policy?
I know that it's not commonly done, but I'm having a hard time explaining to a GC why it's not something carriers will do.
Okay thanks. That all makes sense. Our client is actually a sub working for the GC and of course, the GC has all these requirements. The sub (our insd) has their own H/NO policy that's separate, and the carrier will not add any endorsement to it. But, I haven't asked about the wording to limit exposure. I hate it when they get some 8 year old contract and refuse to defer from it any tiny bit. Makes our jobs tough!!
Thanks!!!!
